Authorities have launched an intense manhunt to capture the terrorists responsible for the tragic attack on pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir. The assault resulted in nine fatalities, including a two-year-old child. In response to this atrocity, actor Priyanka Chopra expressed her grief and outrage on social media. She took to Instagram Stories to share her sorrow and condemnation. “Devastated. This heinous attack on innocent pilgrims is horrific. Why civilians and children?! It’s so hard to comprehend the hatred we’re around the world,” she wrote.

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut ‘strongly’ condemned the ‘cowardly’ terrorist attack on her social media handle. She wrote, “I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on the pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir. I pray for the departed and hope for the swift recovery of the injured. Om Shanti.”
Alia Bhatt also opened up about the attack saying “This is heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Violence against the innocent shakes the core of our humanity!”
Varun Dhawan also spoke about the terrifying incident and wrote, “Devastated by the horrific attack on innocent pilgrims in Reasi. I strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist act. Praying for the departed souls. My condolences to the victims and their families.”

All You Need to Know About Reasi Attack
According to PTI, the terrorists targeted a 53-seater bus transporting pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. The attack caused the bus to veer off the road and plunge into a deep gorge near Teryath village in Reasi on Sunday evening. The victims included pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
In the aftermath, a comprehensive joint operation was launched involving the police, the Army, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and central intelligence agencies. Initially, The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy group for the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit, claimed responsibility for the attack but later retracted their statement.
