Chennai: In the midst of filming for his upcoming flick ‘Good Bad Ugly’, popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar carved out time for a surprise visit to cinema legend Chiranjeevi on the ‘Vishwambhara’ set. The ‘Vishwambhara’ fans were delighted when Chiranjeevi posted pictures of their heartwarming meet-up. The images beautifully encapsulated their friendly banter, shared laughs, and the entire crew of ‘Vishwambhara’. Taking a walk down memory lane, they also had an engaging discussion about Ajith’s debut film ‘Prema Pusthakam’, which saw music launched by none other than Chiranjeevi himself. Taking it to Instagram, Chiranjeevi captioned his post, “Had a surprise Star guest on the sets of Vishwambhara last evening. The very affectionate Ajith Kumar who’s shooting next door visited & we spent some great time chatting up and fondly recollecting the time of his debut film Prema Pustakam whose music launch was done by me. And what’s more, his better half, Shalini acted as one of the endearing kids in my film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Clearly, there were memories galore to cherish. I was so delighted at the peaks of stardom Ajit has attained over the years and yet how he remained a beautiful soul at heart! (sic).”

The cinematic treat, Prema Pusthakam, featuring Ajith Kumar, hit the screens in 1993. This romantic flick was the creative endeavor of the talented brother duo, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao and Gollapudi Srinivas. On the other hand, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, with the iconic Chiranjeevi and the beloved, late Sridevi, was released a bit earlier, in 1990.
