Amitabh Bachchan gifts his Rs 50 crore bungalow Prateeksha to daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has gifted his Mumbai abode Prateeksha to his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, which reportedly costs around Rs 50 crore. As per a report by Money Control, a gift deed was signed on November 8, and Rs 50.65 lakh was paid as stamp duty.

The Sholay star owns three bungalows in the Juhu area of Mumbai- Jalsa, Janak, and Prateeksha, with the latter being his first house where he stayed with his parents.

Shweta Bachchan took to her official Instagram handle and posted a photo where Amitabh Bachchan can be seen accompanied by his better half, Jaya Bachchan, and grandchildren, Aaradhya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nandaand Agastya Nanda.

Amitabh Bachchan calls family ‘mini India’, says ‘becomes sandwich at home’

Bachchan began the Family Special Week on his popular quiz-based game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15. In one of the episode, Big B opened up about the diversity in his family while speaking to one of the contestants. The superstar said that many members of his family come from different parts of the country. He went on to add although he loves he fact, it also makes him a ‘sandwich’ at home.

“I can completely understand, even I become a sandwich at home with everyone. However, what I like the most is the fact that my family is so diverse,” Hindustan Times quoted Amitabh Bachchan as saying.
