Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot on July 12, 2024. The couple’s celebration of the traditional mameru ceremony has already garnered media attention, even though every relevant detail on their big union’s date, time, and location has already been revealed. For those unaware, part of this custom is the prospective bride receiving presents and signs of affection from her maternal uncle. However, a special object caught our notice, even while the entire Ambani residence is beautifully decorated for the momentous occasion. A jungle-themed rath! Yes, you heard that right.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant rang in their mameru ceremony on July 3, 2024. As part of the celebration, a unique rath with a jungle theme arrived at the Ambani residence, sparkling with fancy lights, LED boards, mascots, and numerous standees. This rath paid homage to Anant’s dream project and animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara. A few individuals could be seen driving the chariot against the backdrop of lush grass and trees in a now-viral video. The rath also came with mascots of deer, foxes, and birds like flamingos and swans.

The internet users went berserk after the video of the jungle-themed rath went viral on social media. One of the users asked, “What the hell is this circus.” Another user wrote, “If jungle theme then dress code will also be leaves n stones etc etc.” The third one said, “Shadi kam Annual function zaada lag ra hai.” The fourth one commented, “This is ridiculous. How much more money is the family planning on wasting?!”

The soon-to-be husband and wife were shown standing atop a jungle-themed rath in another video from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s big day. The rath was a tribute to Anant’s dream project, the Vantara animal rehabilitation centre in Jamnagar. Anant and Radhika, dressed in matching orange outfits, appeared incredibly in love as they waved and flashed their brightest grins to the photographers.

Radhika and Anant’s initials were used to create a distinctive emblem that was displayed at the front of the house. In addition, several colourfully designed flower and tree decorations were set up. Additionally, adorable caricatures of the bride and groom, Anant and Radhika, on LED screens elevated the atmosphere of the venue.
