Ankita Lokhande Pens Special Note For Sushant Singh Rajput as Pavitra Rishta Turns 15: ‘I Don’t Think There’s Anything More Precious’
Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'Pavitra Rishta' completed 15 years. The actor dropped a heartwarming note to commemorate the occasion.
Ankita Lokhande, who gained fame for playing the famous Archana in the adored television series ‘Pavitra Rishta,’ celebrated the program’s 15 years on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and her own career journey in show business. Her acting debut on the show launched her into stardom and forged a close bond with viewers throughout the country. Ankita shared nostalgic memories of her transition into Archana. She also remembered her co-star, the late Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the role of Manav, her on-screen love interest.
Ankita acknowledged that Sushant had been a mentor to her during her acting career and that he had played a significant part in developing both her abilities and the show’s innovative narrative. She acknowledged the long-lasting influence the part had on her life and thanked Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms for giving her such a big role so early in her career.
As she reflected on the unique portrayal of Marathi culture in ‘Pavitra Rishta,’ Ankita emphasized the show’s innocence and its ability to resonate with viewers on a profound level. In the following post, she also added a series of pictures of her with Sushant as Archana and Manav captioning it as, “It’s not just 15 years of Archana, it’s also 15 years of Archana and Manav, a couple who personified love, marriage, understanding and companionship. They’re perfect. They’re what we call ‘Goals’.”

She underlined Sushant’s move from television to Bollywood, highlighting both his incredible journey and the industry’s reaction to his untimely death. After becoming well-known for his performance as Manav in “Pavitra Rishta,” Sushant Singh Rajput entered the Bollywood scene with hits like Kai Po Che!, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Dil Bechara.
In contrast, Ankita Lokhande embarked on a journey in films, showcasing her talent in supporting roles in projects like ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi‘ and ‘Baaghi 3.’ Her latest endeavour is ‘Swantantrya Veer Savarkar‘ alongside Randeep Hooda.
