Ankita Lokhande refutes pregnancy rumours, says 'I don’t worry about any biological clock'

Actress Ankita Lokhande, who married entrepreneur Vicky Jain in December 2021 in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Mumbai, has finally reacted to her pregnancy rumours and ‘morphed baby bump’ pictures circulating online. In an interview with ETimes, the Pavitra Rishta actress revealed how she laughs at such petty things.

The actress further added how she is not alone in this as when one is single or unmarried, they are constantly bombarded with questions like ‘Shaadi horahi, Kab horahi hai or ho chuki hai’. Once married, it shifts to ‘baccha horaha hai, nahi ho raha hai ya ho chuka hai, you are pregnant’ or it could also be about divorce. She further added that this keeps happening in the media.

On rumours affecting her

Ankita Lokhande revealed that rumours don’t affect her at all. “I see so many times memes about me. There are also pictures of me having a baby bump on YouTube and social media, but I don’t give it attention at all,” the 38-year-old said.

On morphed pictures

Ankita Lokhande, who made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi added that she laughed after seeing her morphed baby bump photos created by people online or in YouTube videos. “They are just doing a timepass by making such photos as such people are without work at all, she continued.

As part of the latest interview, the actress confirmed that there is no rush to plan a pregnancy and that she ‘doesn’t worry about biological clock’. She further remarked, “Whether it is her career, getting married or having a baby, whenever it has to happen it will happen.”

Ankita and Vicky’s relationship

Ankita Lokhande married the love of her life Vicky Jain in December 2021. In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, talking about her marriage, the actress said she has “no patience to understand people”. However, Vicky has made her understand the importance of giving that to one’s partner.

Work front

Work-wise, both Ankita and Vicky are currently rumoured to participate in Bigg Boss 17, which would be based on the singles vs couples theme this year. The actress, who rose to fame on Indian television with Pavitra Rishta alongside late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, made her Bollywood debut with Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi in 2019.
