Annu Kapoor, famous for his roles in movies such as Vicky Donor, Dream Girl, and Dream Girl 2, sought protection from the police after receiving death threats. The actor is garnering headlines following the teaser release of his upcoming film Hamare Baarah. The movie’s teaser has sparked a massive debate in society, embroiling controversy and leading to death threats. Taking to social media, Annu Kapoor shared a video where he asked for police protection.

Annu Kapoor Receives Death Threats

The video, which is making rounds on the internet, shows the actor saying, “The film advocates women’s empowerment and talks about the rights of women. First, watch the film and then give your verdict. People have the freedom to speak their minds on social media, but they should not abuse. Don’t abuse or give death threats. We will not be scared by these things.”

He further added, “We made an issue-based film solely to talk about women’s empowerment. It addresses the issue of the growing population, and our intention is not to hurt the sentiments of any caste or community.”
