Asia Cup 2023: India vs Pakistan clocks 2.8 crore concurrent users on Disney+ Hotstar

India registered records on and off the field during the clash against Pakistan in the Asia Cup across Sunday and Monday. At the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India beat Pakistan by a staggering 228-runs for a comprehensive win in the Super 4s.

Off the field, the high-profile clash shattered India men’s cricket team’s digital viewership record. As per BCCI secretary Jay Shah, the India vs Pakistan match witnessed 2.8 crore concurrent viewers at one point across the two rain-affected days of match.

The previous highest for Indian cricket team was 2.52 crore viewers for the 2019 Cricket World Cup contest versus New Zealand in the semi-finals.
