Khalid Hotak wins the quarter-final against Suraj Yadav. The Afghan delivers a powerful kick in the second round that knocks the Indian out cold and leads to the medical officials bringing the stretcher out to the mat.


Yadav though is back on his feet shortly after, though his journey in Hangzhou comes to an end.

India's campaign on Day 3 of the Asian Games ends with back-to-back defeats in Wushu.

Srihari Nataraj, Likith Selvaraj Prema, Sajan Prakash and Tanish George Mathew finish fifth in the men’s 4x100m medley relay final with a combined time of 3:40.20 — which is two seconds more than what the Chinese Taipei team took to finish fourth.


China (3:27.01) take gold in the event and are followed by Korea (3:32.05) and Japan (3:32.52)
