Atishi set to be next chief minister of Delhi after Arvind Kejriwal proposes her name

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Birthday party (AAP) MLA Atishi Marlena is all set to change into the emblem new chief minister of Delhi after Arvind Kejriwal proposed her name to be triumphant him. Atishi is a key face of the birthday celebration as well because the government and holds multiple portfolios, including finance, education and PWD. Names of Delhi ministers Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot and Saurabh Bharadwaj were also making the rounds as contenders, birthday celebration insiders added that Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal and Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel were also the probables.

Earlier lately, the meeting of birthday celebration MLAs commenced at Kejriwal’s place of dwelling around eleven.20 am. The meeting began with an address by AAP national general secretary (Organisation) Sandeep Pathak. “The name of the emblem new CM will likely be announced at 12 noon lately after the legislative birthday celebration meeting,” a celebration functionary said.
The birthday celebration added that the Delhi Assembly will likely be convened on September 26 and 27.
Beforehand of the legislative birthday celebration meeting, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj ruled out the possibility of Sunita Kejriwal replacing her husband. “As a lot as I know Arvind Kejriwal’s politics, he won’t try this. Sunita ji herself is now not interested,” he told reporters.
Kejriwal had announced his decision to resign from the post of chief minister on Sunday. He had said that he'll best take a seat on the CM’s chair when people give him a “certificate of honesty”.
