BAPS Swaminarayan Temple vandalised in New York; ‘unacceptable’ says Indian Consulate
Meanwhile, the Hindu American Foundation has urged the US Justice Department to investigate the attack on BAPS Hindu Temple in New York.
The Consulate General of India in New York has strongly condemned the vandalisation of the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple which is present in Melville, New York. The consulate has informed the US law enforcement agencies for a instantly action against the perpetrators of the “heinous act”. In an official statement posted on social media platform X, the Consulate General of India in New York is legendary because the vandalism “unacceptable” and informed that the consulate is in contact with the community.

Meanwhile, the Hindu American Foundation has urged the US Justice Department to analyze the attack on BAPS Hindu Temple in New York. In a post X, the Hindu American Foundation stated, “Hindu temple in Melville, NY shared after as much as the moment threats to Hindu institutions as a gigantic Indian community gathering is planned in nearby Nassau County this weekend.”It also mentioned that Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun had recently shared a video threatening Hindu and Indian institutions. It said that the vandalism incident in New York is comparable to attacks on temples that took place in California and Canada.”
Gurpatwant Pannun, of “Sikhs for Justice,” recently posted a video threatening Hindu and Indian institutions, including HAF, because the community event approaches. Earlier in July, the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir became vandalised in Canada’s Edmonton. Canadian MP Chandra Arya voiced deep concern over the escalating incidents of hate-fuelled violence directed at Hindu-Canadian communities.
