Bihar Shocker: Man rapes his daughters for years on advice of tantrik 'to have a son', gets life-term

A man in Bihar’s Buxar has been found guilty of repeatedly raping his own daughters for several years. This horrific act was carried out on the advice of a self-proclaimed tantrik, with the misguided goal of having a son.

On Tuesday, a local court specialising in cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Buxar district handed down a life sentence to the accused father, Binod Kumar Singh, and the mystic, Ajay Kumar.

Simultaneously, the court sentenced the mother and aunt of the survivors to 20 years in prison for their role in instigating the accused individuals to commit these heinous acts.

As per reports, the young girls had endured sexual abuse for over a decade before they mustered the courage to report the matter to the police, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

According to the police, the accused father, who initially had only two daughters, consulted a local mystic in 2012 to fulfill his desire for a son. Shockingly, the mystic advised him to commit unspeakable acts against his own children. Although the accused eventually had a son, the mystic continued to threaten the boy’s life, forcing the father to persist in his horrifying actions. To compound the tragedy, the mystic himself began to assault the girls.

In a courageous move, the sisters managed to escape from their home in May of last year and reported their ordeal to the local police. Law enforcement promptly initiated a rapid trial, leading to the incarceration of all those involved in this horrifying case.
