Delhi wall collapse: One dead, two injured as Dargah wall collapse in Nabi Karim area

New Delhi: One person killed and two other suffered injuries after a wall of a Dargah collapsed in Delhi’s Nabi Karim area on Friday morning. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call regarding the incident at 7 am and three fire tenders were pressed into service. The official said that two persons were rescued from the spot while few remained trapped less than the debris of the wall.

Within the way forward for the rescue efforts, one man changed into found beneath the debris. He changed into rushed to the health facility but changed into pronounced dead upon arrival. A local police officer confirmed that the incident took place at approximately 6:Forty 5 AM.

The victim changed into identified as 35-year-old Rehmat, a native of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. In step with the police, Rehmat, who operated an e-rickshaw, lived in a short refuge built near the wall.

Two more persons were injured right all through the incident and are currently undergoing treatment. The fire officials said that the local police and rescue team were on the spot and the debris has been faraway from the spot.
