Anil Kapoor is supposed to be one of the richest people in India in the recent blockbuster Animal, which shows Ranbir Kapoor as his son. Bud do you know the house they own in the film in Delhi is actually Saif Ali Khan’s Pataudi Palace? Yes, you heard that right. Located near Delhi, the other film that was shot at the expansive space was Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s Veer-Zaara.

The property tentatively costs around Rs 800 crore and Kareena Kapoor Khan, through her Instagram stories, keeps sharing pictures that give us a tour of the sprawling space.

Animal is in no mood to slow down at the box office. After enjoying a monstrous opening weekend, the massy action-drama is setting new benchmarks on the weekdays. As per the early estimates, the movie collected around Rs 34 crore yesterday and has emerged as the second-highest first-Tuesday grosser after Gadar 2, which collected Rs 55.40 crore.

Animal has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark in its Hindi version and is expected to enter the Rs 300 crore by the end of its opening week.

The important thing is that the Sunny Deol starrer had the advantage of the national holiday of Independence Day, which had fallen on Tuesday and henceforth resulted in a humongous collection. Animal has beaten all biggies like Baahubali 2 Hindi (Rs 30 crore), Simmba (Rs 28.19 crore), War (Rs 28.90 crore), Pathaan (Rs 23 crore), Jawan (Rs 26.52 crore) KGF 2 Hindi (Rs 19.14 crore) by a huge margin.

While the film has crossed the business of films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, OMG 2 and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar The Kerala Story today, it will surpass the business of Tiger 3 to become the fifth highest grosser of the year after Jawan, Gadar 2 and Pathaan.
