New Delhi: After Xavi Hernandez’s sacking, Barcelona have appointed Hansi Flick as their new manager. Barcelona had a disappointing run in the 2023-24 season. The 16-year-old wonder kid from La Masia has been the biggest positive for the Balugrana in the last season. Another young talent from La Masia who emerged under Xavi’s managerial period is Pau Cubarsi. The 17-year-old centre-back has delivered some spectacular defensive performances for his team in the season. He has played 19 games in La Liga and thee games in the Champions League. He stole the show against PSG in the first leg of the quarterfinal with his amazing performances against the likes of Kylian Mbappe. The Polish striker had an average season but with Hansi Flick coming in could be a turning point for him. Flick and Lewandowski had worked together earlier at Bayern Munich, where the duo had an invincible time, winning six trophies in a single season.
