Himesh Reshammiya’s father Vipin Reshammiya dies at 87

Singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya’s father Vipin Reshammiya passed away on Wednesday, September 18 at 8:30 pm. He was 87. He was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Sanatorium in Mumbai hen complained about fighting breathing issues and age-related health problems. His last rites will probably be performed on September 19 in Juhu, Mumbai. The Reshammiya family will bring his mortal remains to home soon.
Himesh’s family friend Vanita Thapar confirmed the news to ETimes. “Yes, he had a breathing problem”. She similarly shared her bond with Vipin. “I used to call him papa it be because time he was making TV serials. Later, he was a music director, and then Himesh followed in his footsteps…” she told the portal.
Vipin Reshammiya was a name inside of the indutry. He produced The Xpose (2014) and Teraa Surroor (2016). Both the movies were headlined by his son Himesh. Vipin also composed music for an unreleased film which is often called Insaaf Ka Suraj (1990). Vipin also worked with great artists like RD Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and Shankar Jaikishan. In 1987, he even produced the movie Insaaf Ki Jung.
