Hollywood legend Anthony Hopkins 'honoured' to meet Salman Khan, shares photo from Joy Awards

British cinema and stage veteran Anthony Hopkins shared a picture with Salman Khan on social media and said he was honoured to meet the Indian superstar at the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia.

Hopkins attended the ceremony on Saturday in Riyadh, where he received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The two-time Oscar winner posted a picture with Khan, who presented Egyptian actor Essad Youniss with the Lifetime Achievement honour at the awards, on his Instagram Story.

In 2023, Salman Khan ruled the Diwali season with his blockbuster movie Tiger 3. Well, this has indeed piqued the audience’s excitement to watch the superstar back on the screens and interestingly, the superstar didn’t make his fans wait for long and announced his next with Dharma Productions, titled, Bull. The team kickstarted the mahurat shot in Mumbai on December 29, and the superstar is undergoing extensive physical prep, even training with paramilitary forces.

As per the source, “Salman Khan to play Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who led Operation Cactus in 1988 in the Maldives. He will be a paramilitary officer in the upcoming Dharma project, to begin filming in February. The superstar is undergoing rigorous physical training to play the character of Brigadier Bulsara.” The superstar is training for 3.5 Hours daily to get into the skin of the character. Karan Johar wishes Salman Khan on his 58th birthday

Karan shared a still of Salman Khan as Aman Mehra from his 1998 film. Along with that, he penned a long note, recalling how Salman approached him at a party and promised to play the key role.

“A massive movie star came up to me and asked me why I was standing by a corner… I told him I had been to several actors for a part but was politely rejected,” Karan wrote. Mentioning that Salman’s sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri is close to him, the filmmaker added that it was due to her that the Dabangg actor was convinced to meet him the next day to hear the story.
