Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the third ODI between India and Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, aka Chepauk, in Chennai on Wednesday with the series currently locked at 1-1.

India, incidentally, are undefeated in bilateral contests at home since March 2019, when Australia defeated them 3-2 in a five-game rubber from 0-2 down, and will hope to preseve that record at the conclusion of their home season. Australia, meanwhile, are on a high after their dominant victory in Visakhapatnam, and will be backing themselves to fly back home with a trophy in their possession after failing to regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
