Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the second T20I between India and Australia in Thiruvananthapuram's Greenfield Stadium. The two sides lock horns in Kerala just days after Suryakumar Yadav (80) inspired the hosts to a two-wicket win in his India captaincy debut. Remember, India lead the five-match series 1-0 and will look to double that today. Stay tuned for more updates.

Preview: With an eye on doubling the series lead, Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India will take on Australia in the second T20I at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield Stadium on Sunday.

The Men in Blue were made to work hard in the series opener in Vizag on Thursday, but the biggest positive for them was Suryakumar Yadav’s (80) return to form. Apart from Suryakumar, Ishan Kishan (58) and Rinku Singh (22*) played big roles in India’s two-wicket win.

However, for India, their bowlers will have to step up. Ravi Bishnoi (1/54) and Prasidh Krishna (150) were expensive while the other three bowlers — Axar Patel, Mukesh Kumar and Arshdeep Singh failed to get among the wickets column.

Josh Inglis may not have had the best of ODI World Cups with the bat but he made a stunning impact in the first T20I in Vizag, scoring a 47-ball century. Steve Smith (52) scored a half-century before being run out in the 16th over, but Smith and Inglis’ knocks helped the visitors post 208.

India will also hope their openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal fire and form to consistent stand to start off with.

Run-outs were a massive cause for concern for the hosts, especially in the last over of the chase in the first T20I, when Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi were dismissed in that fashion. It will be paramount that the batters do not panic in pressure  situations.

Australia will also look to put up a disciplined bowling effort. Barring Jason Behrendorff (1/25), all five of their remaining bowlers ended up with expensive economy rates of over 10, with Marcus Stoinis being the most expensive (Economy of 12).
