India fought back admirably to reduce Bangladesh to 136/9 while defending a modest 187-run target. And for some reason, the Men in Blue decided to take the foot off the gas pedal, which showed in their lines as well as in their fielding efforts, with a couple of crucial chances being put down.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, for one, wasn't pleased with KL Rahul dropping a dolly, as well as with Washington Sundar for making an effort to go the extra mile for a catch, and was seen letting out a few expletives at his colleagues.

KL Rahul taking the middle-order slot has quite a significant impact on the playing XI and team combinations. The opening position to start with, it indicates that the team management is willing to have Shikhar Dhawan in the mix of things at least until the World Cup.

Bansal Shah writes on the impact of Rahul's 70-ball 73 in the first ODI, in which he vacated the opener's slot for Shikhar Dhawan and instead batted at five.
