IPL 2025: Deadline for player retention announced, franchises to submit list of retained cricketers by THIS date

New Delhi: This time a mega auction is to be held for IPL 2025. An exceptional deal of players will move from here to there in this. Franchisees will should use the selection of retention and right-to-match to keep up their veteran and famous person players connected to their team. For this, the Governing Council of IPL announced the principles on Saturday.

Teams may perhaps have the flexibility to retain 6 players:

Per the BCCI Governing Council, a franchise can retain a maximum of six players through retention or by using the Right to Match (RTM) card option.
