Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, recently got married to her longtime boyfriend and fiance, Nupur Shikhare, in Mumbai. While the couple registered their marriage in an intimate ceremony last week, they have now headed to Udaipur ahead of the major celebrations. The pre-wedding ceremonies have already kicked off and Ira and Nupur recently held their Mehendi ceremony on Monday. Several pictures and videos from the Mehendi are going viral, showing the bride and groom enjoying themselves to the fullest with their friends and family members. Pictures from the ceremony also went viral, wherein they happily posed for the camera as the bride was adorned with henna.
One such video has now caught the internet’s attention, where the groom, Nupur Shikhare, can be seen grooving joyfully to a Hindi song at the pre-wedding ceremony. As the video plays, Ira Khan can be seen flaunting her Mehendi while dancing to ‘Nachde Ne Saare’ along with friends. The camera further focuses on Nupur Shikhare as he aces the steps of Badshah’s song ‘Jugnu’ with his friends with the utmost zest.
Actress Mithila Palkar was also a part of the celebrations. Besides that, Ira Khan has also been sharing glimpses of her pre-wedding events. Earlier, the couple were seen posing with friends.
Ira Khan Mehendi
In the pictures going viral from her Mehendi ceremony, Ira can be seen dressed in a beige and ivory-coloured lehenga, which she paired with light golden and pearl jewellery.
Nupur, on the other hand, donned a shirt with trousers and a contrasting waistcoat. Pictures of them posing together were also shared across social media platforms.
Notably, Ira Khan is Aamir Khan‘s daughter from his first wife, Reena Dutta. Presently, the entire family, including Ira’s elder brother Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s second ex-wife Kiran Rao, their son Azad Rao Khan, and others, are in Udaipur for the celebrations. As per the itinerary, while the Mehendi ceremony is wrapped up, Sangeet is scheduled for Tuesday, while a traditional wedding is expected to take place on Wednesday, 10 January 2024.
