One of the biggest entertainment awards nights in Bollywood, the Filmfare Awards is all set to return with its 69th edition this year. Ahead of the award ceremony, Filmfare kickstarted the same with a press conference with celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, and many others in attendance. While the event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, the celebrities were seen getting into an interesting conversation. Besides interacting with the media, they also spoke about their first-ever Filmfare and their journey with the Filmfare.
Janhvi Kapoor spoke about her experience with the Filmfare Awards as she went on to recall attending the ceremony with her late mother, actress Sridevi.

Recalling the time when she attended the ceremony with her mother, the legendary actress Sridevi, Janhvi said, “Everyone knows mom was not a very outgoing person. But when it came to the Filmfare Awards, at home it was always like a family outing. We’d get ready and go together. She was very excited about showing me all these amazing performances.”
The Dhadak actress further went on to remember how she would help her mother pick a dress.
“I still remember the first Filmfare Award show that I ever went for. I had picked out the black gown that she wore,” she continued and said that she would always accompany her mother to the event.
Apart from sharing some of her fond memories, the actress also touched upon her professional journey in the industry.
Besides Janhvi, Karan, and Varun, others who attended the press conference were a few panellists including Shri. Hareet Shukla, IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Devasthanam Management, Civil Aviation & Pilgrimage, Government of Gujarat.

Last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi has many other projects in the pipeline. Beginning with Devara with actors Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan to Mr And Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor has an exciting year ahead.
She also has another interesting project titled Ulajh with actors like Gulshan Devaiah, Adil Hussain, Roshan Matthew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyang Chang, among others.
