Javed Akhtar fans hit back at team 'Animal' for its 'Your art form is false' remark, talk about 'Deewar' and 'Swades'
Veteran writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar was at an event recently where he spoke about Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal and spoke at length about the dangerous trend its success could create. In particular, he spoke about the one scene where Kapoor’s character asks the character of Tripti Dimri to lick his shoe before he walks away from the scene.
Team Animal hit back at Akhtar by saying all his art form is big false and stated the reason for the same. However, fans on X have stood by Akhtar and slammed the makers of the film for their retort.
