2nd Bollywood film to earn over Rs 100 crore on its first day worldwide

After Pathaan, Jawan emerged as the second to earn over Rs 100 crore on its first day at the global box office as it collected Rs 129 crore (Rs 144.22 crore), the highest for any Hindi movie.

3rd highest grosser of 2023

In just four days, with a collection of over Rs 250 crore, Jawan emerged as the third-highest grosser of 2023 after Pathaan (Rs 543.05 crore) and Gadar 2 (Rs 511 crore) beating The Kerala Story (Rs 242.20 crore).

The magnum opus surpassed the business of Chennai Express (Rs 227 crore) to become SRK’s second-highest grosser after Pathaan.

Fastest entrant to Rs 500 crore club globally

In just four days, the film entered the Rs 500 crore club at the global box office and emerged as the fast movie to achieve this feat beating Pathaan.

Atlee’s highest worldwide grosser 

Jawan trumped Bigil to become the highest worldwide grosser of director Atlee. His last film Bigil had earned over Rs 300 crore globally.

Highest single day of all time

On Sunday, the film went on a record-breaking mode and collected insane over Rs 71 crore emerging as the highest single-day grosser for a Hindi film, shattering Pathaan (Rs 70.50 crore).

First Hindi film to cross Rs 35 crore mark in dubbed versions

Jawan became the first Hindi movie to cross the Rs 35 crore mark in dubbed versions (Telugu and Tamil) at the box office. The presence of names like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Anirudh, Priyamani and Atlee helped the actioner to achieve this feat.
