JetBlue Airways Gives Crucial Update to Loyalty Program

Which airline has the best loyalty program? Hard to say, really, as any time an airline adds a no promotion or benefit in order to attract new customers, or in order to keep customers from trying a different program, then other airlines will immediately try to counter with something else.
It’s an ever-escalating benefits war, and no side can afford for any airline to stay in the lead for too long.

But we can say that JetBlue (JBLU) - Get Free Report has certainly put forth a strong effort in the loyalty rewards game of late.
Last year, the company announced it would be drastically overhauling its TrueBlue loyalty program. And as of now, the new program has gone live.
The goal of the program was to make it easier to earn one of the company's Mosaic statuses, and to use points to earn perks.
The highest level of status in the program is TrueBlue Mosaic status, but there are now four different levels, and you can progress through them by travel and credit card spending on JetBlue, JetBlue Vacations, Paisly by JetBlue, JetBlue credit cards, American Airlines and loyalty partners.
How it works is that you accumulate what are called Tiles (which most airlines just call “Points”) which you can track to see what perks and statuses you’ve unlocked. You begin earning bonuses at 10 tiles, and you can choose which ones you like via the Perks You Pick feature, which include priority boarding with a dedicated lane, two checked bags and roomier seats.
But even TrueBlue customers that haven’t reached Mosaic will get rewarded for their loyalty, including a free alcoholic beverage and bonus points.
