Hyderabad: Prabhas‘ upcoming science-fiction movie, Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has been the subject of intense anticipation among movie enthusiasts across India since its announcement. With its release just over a month away, it is evident that Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year 2024. Recently, the filmmakers organised a pre-release event in Hyderabad, where Prabhas appeared as his character Bhairava. Meet Bujji: A Futuristic Car From Kalki 2898 AD

Prabhas recently unveiled Bujji, an awe-inspiring character car from his upcoming movie. Described as futuristic, this vehicle has captured the attention of the public with its remarkable specifications.

The car’s dimensions are truly remarkable, measuring 6075 mm in length, 3380 mm in width, and 2186 mm in height. The front wheels nearly reach the presenter’s shoulder height, adding to the car’s imposing presence. The wheels are designed with a unique hubless feature, and the outer rims are equipped with bearings to facilitate their function.

A canopy further enhances Bujji’s exterior, and the tires are specially crafted by the renowned CEAT tire manufacturer. The car is a collaborative effort between Mahindra and Jayem Motors, a company based in Coimbatore, India, showcasing the country’s engineering prowess.

The captivating car boasts an impressive kerb weight of 6 tonnes, captivating car enthusiasts with its power of 94 kW, torque of 9800 Nm, and a 47 kWh battery. Anand Mahindra disclosed that its development involved powertrain configuration, architecture, and performance simulations. Notably, Mahindra Research Valley’s Chennai team played a pivotal role in bringing this futuristic vehicle’s vision to fruition.

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, recently announced the creation of a unique robot car, designed and manufactured by his team in collaboration with Coimbatore-based Jayam Motors. This innovative vehicle is powered by two Mahindra e-motors that drive the rear spherical wheel. Accompanying the announcement, a minute-long teaser titled ‘BhairavaXBujji’ was released, featuring the robot car alongside Prabhas in his role as Bhairava.
