Karan Johar has come forward to support Kangana Ranaut amidst the controversy surrounding her alleged slap incident. The incident involved Kangana being slapped by woman CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur at Chandigarh airport, which has sparked significant discussion within the industry. During the trailer launch event for his upcoming film “Kill,” Karan Johar was asked about the incident. He clearly stated, “I do not support any kind of violence, verbal or physical.” This statement shows his stance against violence in any form.

Netizens took no time to comment on the viral video. One of the social media users wrote, “Meanwhile, Kangana, ‘Nepotism ka bachha, tera support nahi chahiye mujhe.'” Another wrote, “But he’ll be happy inside”. The thirs user said, “Yeh bhi ek din khayega lagta hai”.

Kangana Ranaut Slap Controversy

Kangana‘s slap incident has generated a lot of reactions from various members of the film fraternity. Kangana Ranaut, who is now a BJP MP from Mandi, had previously made derogatory comments regarding the farmers’ protest, which led to the altercation with the CISF constable. The constable, Kulwinder Kaur, claimed her actions were a response to Kangana’s comments. In her statement said, “She gave a statement… that farmers are sitting there for Rs 100. Will she go and sit there? My mother was sitting there and protesting when she gave this statement…”

Kangana reacted strongly to the incident, sharing her thoughts on social media platform X. She expressed that any form of physical assault is unacceptable, comparing it to serious crimes like rape and murder in terms of violating someone’s personal space.

Apart from addressing this controversy, Karan Johar is busy promoting his upcoming film “Kill,” which is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. The film features newcomer Lakshay and is set to release in theatres on July 5. During the trailer launch, Karan unveiled posters of the film’s protagonist Lakshya and antagonist Raghav, adding to the anticipation for the film’s release.
