Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora dies; Police releases first official statement: ‘Prima facie suicide’

Actresses Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora’s father, Anil Arora, passed away after committing suicide. Per news agency ANI, Anil jumped from the sixth floor of his building. An investigation into the matter is currently ongoing. On the opposite hand, the family has yet to liberate an official statement. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police have confirmed the case as suicide, and his body has been sent for a post-mortem.

Per sources, Malaika’s mother, Joyce, in her statement to the police, mentioned that Anil’s every day routine involved sitting on the balcony while reading the newspaper every morning. Joyce also revealed that, though they had been divorced for a very long time, they had started living together again in updated years. She added that on Wednesday morning, she noticed Anil’s slippers inside of the lounge. When she went to the balcony to to locate him, she witnessed the foremost terrifying sight.

While addressing the media, a Mumbai Police officer said in Hindi, “Anil Arora used to reside on the sixth floor. We are carrying out a close investigation from all angles… our forensic teams are here for investigation. His body is being sent for postmortem. We are investigating everything… prima facie it appears like suicide, we are conducting further investigation.”

Joyce said she saw Anil’s unconscious body on the ground floor. She also mentioned that the building’s watchman became shouting for help. Joyce informed the police that Anil became now not tormented by any serious illness, excluding some knee pain.

Meanwhile, a video making rounds on the tips superhighway shows Malaika Arora weeping inconsolably as she enters the home. In any other video, her sister Amrita is likewise seen.
