Tungam Riba has scripted history that has paved way for young girls to unapolegetically pursue their dreams. No job is big or small and Riba proves how. She has become the first even stat woman bus conductor.

Tungam hails from Old Dari village in Leparada district. She currently has passed Bachelor’s of Arts but did not succumb to traditional career expectations.
Breaking stereotypes one ticket at a time. Taking the less travelled path. Riba broke societal norms and applied for a bus conductor position at Arunachal Pradesh University (APU) in Pasighat.

Riba is making her way in the patriarchal-driven world and we applaud the kind of resilience and fortitude she has shown. This feat of hers is the epitome of bravery, tenacity, and the indomitable spirit of women.
