Guyana: History was created at the Providence Stadium on Saturday as Afghanistan stunned New Zealand to start their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with a huge 84-run victory. Chasing Afghanistan’s 159/6, New Zealand, led by Kane Williamson were bundled out for a paltry 75 in 15.2 overs. It was also Afghanistan’s maiden T20I win over New Zealand in history.
