Free Press Journal claimed that an industry track spoke about Vaani Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s project. He told that the details will be formally announced by the makers just as the shooting starts in the UK. This very project indicates Eastwood Studios’ first-ever collaboration on the global platform.

The rom-com film tells an unexpected love story between two people, both navigating their personal battles. They cross paths by a twist of fate and while helping each other out, they slowly but surely, start falling in love. A little birdie mentions Vaani Kapoor, recognized for her contributions to popular cinema, was the chosen one for this project, precisely because she can keep a level head and remain neutrally visible in the industry.

The source further added, “The makers wanted an incredibly fresh cast where Fawad falls in love with a gorgeous Indian girl and Vaani fits right in (sic).” It is expected that the collaboration between the two will commence in September and will wrap up by November.

It is worth noting that after the incident of the URI attack in 2016, leading Pakistani artists including the likes of Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan were barred from pursuing their professional careers in India.
