Popular fast-food burger chain closing 140 restaurants
One of the biggest burger chains in America is shutting down underperforming locations.
The u.s.'s attraction to fast-food burgers accelerated within the Eighties with the foundation of the Burger Wars between McDonald's and Burger King which featured huge ad campaigns and worth reductions to bring more customers into the chains' stores.
McDonald's (MCD) has remained the correct fast-food burger chain during the years, while Burger King held the No. 2 spot until 2012, when Wendy's (WEN) captured the 2d spot.
