New Delhi: The English Premier League is heating up as the title decider is going to go down to the final game week. The two title contenders are currently Manchester City and Arsenal. It is all to play for on 19th May and the winner will take all the accolades after a long season.

Man City Beat Tottenham

Manchester City needed a win in an must win game against Tottenham. Man City ended up winning the contest 2-0 after Erling Haaland scored a brace. The win took Manchester City to 88 points and two points clear of Arsenal who are also in contention to win the league.

Premier League Drama

On the final game of week, Manchester City are to face West Ham whereas Arsenal are going to face off against Everton. The chances of Arsenal winning the league are considerably low considering the form Manchester City is in. In order for Arsenal to win the league, they have to hope that Man City either draws or loses against West Ham and as for Arsenal themselves they have to win their final game.

By winning the match Arsenal will go to 89 points and incase Man City loses they will remain on 88 points. In case there is a draw, Arsenal and Man City both will be on 89 points and Arsenal will have to hope they have a higher goal difference than Man City.

In order for Manchester City to win the league, they have to win their match against West Ham and it will be enough for them to secure their 4th Premier League title in a row.

The top 4 from the Premier League are guaranteed Champions League football. Currently the top 4 spots are held by Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa. There will be no changes in the teams who will be playing Champions League football next season as all four teams have made a comfortable points difference with the teams below them.
