Raj Bhavan Employee Files Sexual Harassment Complaint Against Bengal Governor CV Bose

Kolkata: In a shocking incident, a temporary female employee of the Raj Bhavan has levelled allegations of harassment against West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose. She has also filed a complaint against the head of the executive of the Hare Street Police Station regarding the same. Notably, the allegations against the West Bengal governor come right ahead of PM Modi’s two-day visit to West Bengal, where he is expected to address rallies for Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

“Truth shall triumph. I refuse to be cowed down by engineered narratives . If anybody wants some election benefits by maligning me, God Bless them. But they can not stop my fight against corruption and violence in West Bengal”, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose said.

The employee was working in the Governor House peace room (casual staff).

Reaction From TMC Leader Shashi Panja

On the alleged molestation case against the state governor, TMC leader Shashi Panja says, “We are utterly shocked. The same governor who reached Sandeshkhali talking about women’s rights has now been involved in a rather shameful incident. He has sabotaged the reputation of his post and his chair. The victim is a staff member at the Raj Bhawan… Nothing can be more shameful than a Governor getting involved in such heinous crimes and that too in the Raj Bhawan… Today the PM is coming to the state and he will stay at the Raj Bhawan. We want to know his reaction to the matter… She was reluctant to file a complaint, she was scared and underconfident. The Governor is a powerful person after all…”
