Sex and sleaze in Silicon Valley: Uber nerds, drug fuelled orgies, free-wheeling sex lives

New York: The Silicon Valley, it seems is a melting pot of lurid sexcapades. For those acquainted with the lavish parties thrown at topnotch venues around the Silicon Valley, it is nothing more than a technology baron's drug-riddled sex orgy.

According to a report by Daily Mail, while Elon Musk, who was a recent attendee at a party hosted by a prominent venture capitalist at his beachside house in San Francisco, said it was 'boring an corporate, with zero sex or nudity anywhere', a woman, who worked in tech, and attended the same event, revealed she found herself with two couples on the living room floor.

The party was also attended by Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

The woman at the party also revealed to Emily Change, author of the 2018 expose Brotopia that she was offered powdered ecstasy in a bag, to melt inhibitions, the report added.

According to the report, another attendee, Paul Briggar revealed the sex party was way worse that it sounded, adding, "We were warned before going not to be freaked out about the stuff there, no photos were allowed(!), and definitely don’t tell anyone what we saw."

When later asked about the sex party Elon Musk would tell magazine Wired, "If there are 'sex parties' in Silicon Valley, I haven’t seen or heard of one. If you want wild parties, you’re in the wrong place," adding, "Nerds on a couch are not a “cuddle puddle”.

In fact, Musk has even gone to claim on Twitter that he has not had sex in ages, adding, "I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic."

In her book Brotopia, Emily Change describes parties where men are allowed to bring as many women as they want, as long as they are accompanied by no other males. And as soon as dinner is over, often eaten off the bodies of naked women, drugs come out.

With disappearing inhibitions, many form cuddle puddles, and while some retreat to some more private corners, there are those who get down to the deed on the party floor itself.

The report saw Amy Anderson, who runs a company that finds female partners for rich Silicon Valley honchos say that the executives have multiple dates on a single evening often dating three women at the same time. Not even Bill Gates is immune to this.

Following the dissolution of his marriage with Malinda after 27 years, Gates was hit with a string of allegations of naked pool parties, strippers, extra marital affairs etc as well.

But this is the norm in Silicon Valley, with about a dozen women who work in the industry telling Chang that it is all about socially awkward outcasts from school trying to catch up after years of enforced sexual abstinence.
