Sonakshi Sinha Says ‘Salman Khan is Carefree’, Doesn’t Think ‘Iska Kya Hoga, Uska Kya Hoga…’ 

Mumbai: Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha go way back. The Dabangg duo shares a wonderful friendship which is not just limited to professional exchanges. Sonakshi has always been close to Salman and his family and their on-screen chemistry is also the result of the same. After working for nearly 15 years, both the stars have come to understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses and Sonakshi recently talked about the same. During a conversation with a YouTuber, the actor opened up about her equation with Salman and expressed how he manages to remain the superstar that he is.

Sonakshi was speaking about her latest Netflix series ‘Heeramandi‘ when she took a moment to answer a question about Salman Khan’s lifestyle and his commitment to work. To her surprise, she mentioned that ‘it’s strange’ to see how Salman manages his work and life together. She said her Dabangg co-star lives a carefree life but invests a lot of commitment to work. She told YouTuber Raj Shamani on his podcast, “I think it’s a basic connect with their audience that these guys especially have been able to make. And it does come with a lot of commitment to what you are doing. They have been able to crack that… this is what my audience loves about me and that is my strength and I am just going to play on that. And that’s what they have done for like so many years, which is why people love them.”

Salman Khan lives a ‘contradictory’ life

Sonakshi went on to describe Salman’s way of living. She highlighted that the actor really doesn’t care about anyone or anything when he is passionate about doing something. The actor explained, “He is very carefree but he is also very committed. It’s a paradox, it’s a full contradiction.” The actor went on to mention that she has never seen Salman compromising on doing something he wants to do. “I don’t know how to explain it because I have seen him, and it’s like he doesn’t care about iska kya hoga, uska kya hoga. Mujhe aaj cycle karke jaana hai, main aaj late ho jaunga. Main aaj jaldi set pe aunga. Main aj late khana khaunga (What will happen to me or whether I will cycle to set or I will be late. I will be early on set today or I will eat late today). He’s just so carefree. He does exactly what he wants to do on his time but he is also so committed to his work, it’s very strange. I really don’t know what it is),” she said.

Salman is one of the most loved stars in the country. He and Sonakshi have worked together in the Dabangg series. The latter keeps making appearances at Salman’s family functions. She is especially close to his sister Arpita Khan Sharma and is often seen hanging out with her.
