While promoting her web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, she admitted to being quite eager to tie the knot. This revelation came during a light-hearted moment when Kapil Sharma, the show’s host, playfully teased her.
Talking about Sonakshi and Zaheer, they have shared the screen before in the 2022 film Double XL. Fans speculated that their palpable onscreen chemistry was fueled by a real-life romance. However, the actors consistently maintained a low profile regarding their relationship status. Despite frequent vacations and media appearances together, they insisted they were “just good friends.” This stance kept the rumour mills buzzing but without confirmation, until now. Even their cute banter on the comments have been nothing short of heartwarming, further fueling speculation about their impending nuptials.
When contacted for confirmation, Sonakshi’s brother Luv Sinha remained tight-lipped. “I won’t be commenting. It’s better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter,” he told HT, neither confirming nor denying the reports.
Similarly, Sonakshi’s father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, provided an equally enigmatic response. He revealed that Sonakshi hadn’t discussed her wedding plans with him yet. “Kids these days don’t ask their parents for consent. Instead, they inform,” he remarked, indicating that he is still waiting for official confirmation from his daughter.
