Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in June was a star-studded affair, but the absence of her brothers, Luv and Kush Sinha, sparked speculation. Recently, Luv took to social media to address his reasons for missing the wedding, but his comments caused further controversy. Initially, Luv shared a news article implying his discomfort with Zaheer’s family background, specifically his father Iqbal Ratansi’s alleged political connections and past business dealings. He stated, “For me, my family will always come first,” suggesting a potential conflict.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Luv deleted his initial post and issued a clarification. He denied making the comments about Ratansi, stating they were misconstrued excerpts from a journalist’s article. His revised tweet read, “The quote that is being incorrectly attributed to me is not my statement, and was written in an article by a senior journalist. The matter is now closed, and I will not be commenting on it any further.”

The deleted tweet had an excerpt from the article which read, “With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the ‘washing machine’. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai….”

This clarification aimed to surpressed rumours and emphasised that he wouldn’t discuss the matter further. Sonakshi and Zaheer have also remained silent on the issue. While the exact reasons behind Luv’s absence remain unclear, his attempt to clarify the situation suggests a desire to avoid further drama.

On the other hand, Shatrughan Sinha tweeted about Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal and called them ‘made for each other’ couple.Sinha wrote, “Thanking everyone for their blessings love & warm congratulatory messages.
