Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia known for her latest appearance in Stree 2 discussed her experiences and insights about the film industry in a podcast with Raj Shamani. She pointed out a key difference between Bollywood and South Indian cinema, noting that South Indian films often specialise in genuine and relatable stories, which may make them more impactful for audiences.

Tamannaah Bhatia Praises South Indian Films For Its ‘Rooted Stories’

In her latest talk, she shared that South Indian cinema often reflects its distinct geography and culture. This creates stories that feel more genuine and fix more deeply with the target audience. The Stree 2 actress shared, “The adaptation I've particularly noticed is that South films talk more in the case of their geographical locations. I suspect their content is translating globally primarily because they're seeking to tell rooted stories (sic).”

Tamannaah praised South Indian films for his or her deep emotional issues, like love, family, and revenge. She noted that these issues are universal and relatable to people from different backgrounds. Tamannaah said, “They don’t work from the standpoint of choosing… segments in people.
