Taylor Swift 'freaks out' after fan throws gift on the stage during her performance; addresses the crowd

The practice of throwing things while musicians performing is not a new phenomenon anymore. Fans are often spotted deliberately aiming objects at artists and in some cases leaving them seriously injured. Take the example of Ava Max and Bebe Rexha; the artists were hurt by fans evading their stages or throwing objects at them during their performance.

In the most recent one, singer Taylor Swift also became a victim of a similar incident during the Latin American leg of her Eras Tour in a Buenos Aires concert, Argentina. It was when the artist took the stage, that she evidently became the target of objects being thrown at her. A video from Taylor’s performance has been making rounds on social media, showing the pop singer urging fans to not throw anything on the stage.

It happened when a fan was seen throwing a present on the stage to the artist which made her pause the performance and address the crowd. Noting that it really freaked her out, Taylor said, “Just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries, it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage, because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it.”

She also went on to share her gratitude to fans for bringing presents, however, requested them to not throw them on the stage.

“I love that you brought presents and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage. I love you so much,” she said.

While fans acknowledged her request and stopped such actions, many also shared videos of her address on social media to appreciate her gesture and the way she communicated with fans.

Notably, this is not the first time the singer has faced such an incident. Earlier, at a stop in her Eras tour, a couple of flying objects were seen approaching her as Taylor Swift left the stage and was heading back towards the dressing room. However, surrounded by her security, the artist managed to evade the objects that appeared to be bracelets flying from different directions.

Apart from Taylor, artists including Adele, Harry Styles, Nick Jonas, and Cardi B, among others, were seen addressing such actions, some even reprimanding fans mid-performance.
