‘Two Different Stages’: Former WWE Star Dave Bautista Surprises Everyone with SHOCKING Transformation

New Delhi: Former WWE big name-turned-actor Dave Bautista’s really extensive physical transformation has caught huge attention online. The 55-year-old, once known for his muscular physique, gave surprise to his fans with a crowd pleasing noticeably lean appearance on the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) premier of The Last Showgirl.

An X user shared two photos of Bautista, one from 2022, where he appears significantly bulkier, and yet another from his 2024 TIFF appearance, showcasing a leaner look in a black suit, pearl necklaces, and dark sun shades on the red carpet. The caption read, “What came about to Dave Bautista?”

Alternatively, other users noted that Bautista’s physical transformation will likely be resulting from both aging and his career transition. One X user remarked, “What came about? He become a wrestler and now he’s an actor. These are two different stages of his life, and he’s excelling in both.” Yet one more added, “Bautista is 55 years old. He’s naturally lost muscle mass over time.”

A 0.33 user observed, “He’s evolving right into a fine actor who lets his work speak for itself. He’s now no longer just waiting for action roles; he wants to behave. That’s his passion. He built his body for wrestling, and now he’s lost weight for his new center of attention.”

In a newest interview with Chris Van Vliet, Bautista revealed his weight-loss journey: “I’m getting super trimmed; this would be the lightest I’ve been since I become 19,” he shared. “The heaviest I’ve ever been is 370 lbs. After I started Deacon, I become about 325 lbs. Throughout most of my wrestling career, I become around 290 lbs. Now, I’m around 240 lbs. A year and a 0.5 ago, for *Knock on the Cabin*, I weighed 315 lbs., and that’s when the challenge of shedding pounds began. Now, I’m very particular about my diet.”
