United Airlines Separates Couple Flying First Class For a Ridiculous Reason

Once again, United Airlines  (UAL) - Get Free Report finds itself in the news.

Its been a busy week for the airline, which has announced ambitious plans to double its amount of passengers in the next few years. United has announced plans to expand into Denver and has begun rolling out a new Live Updates program.

But now United finds itself trending for a reason that its likely not going to be pleased with.

In a TikTok that is currently going viral, a woman who claims she is currently recording live from a United Airlines flight to Chicago alleges that her fiancé was moved from a first class seat "booked fair and square" to coach so "part of the crew" could "sit in first class instead."

The woman then says, "I understand that the crew works really hard. However, we booked these seats ahead of time, and this is not fair. This is not customer service, This is ridiculous."

While TikTok, which was recently banned in Montana (though a legal challenge is widely expected), is commonly thought of as app used by teenagers for viral dance challenges and make-up tips, in recent times its also become a resource people use to lodge customer service complains against a variety of companies, much like the way Twitter is used for the same.
