Virat Kohli chanting ‘Om Namah Shivay’ before…, Gautam Gambhir makes stunning revelation

New Delhi: In a casual chat, where The Board of Regulate for Cricket in India (BCCI) released an interaction of India head coach Gautam Gambhir and famous person batter Virat Kohli on the BCCI TV on Wednesday. Kohli got the conversation underway by asking Gambhir about his double hundred against Australia in a Test in Delhi in 2008 and what kept the previous India going one day of that knock.

“Let’s talk a couple of few moments within the India-Australia series. The foremost special one may possibly be the double hundred in our home. I won’t indicate the elbow, because I guess I know why the elbow would have passed off (Gambhir elbowing Shane Watson). I indicate the mindset of the innings. What keeps you grounded and anchored?” Kohli quizzed.

While answering a matter that Kohli posed to Gambhir, the ex-India opener recalled what Kohli had told him after a superior run with the bat one day of India’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia in 2014. Kohli top-scored for India in that series, scoring 692 runs and Gambhir recalled Kohli telling him that he chanted ‘Om Namah Shivay’ ahead of every ball he faced in that series.

“I listen on after you had that bumper series in Australia, where you scored heaps and heaps of runs, you were telling me that you kept saying ‘Om Namah Shivay’ ahead of every delivery. And that got you in that zone. For me, that’s exactly what passed off once I played in Napier. I batted for two-and-half days,” Gambhir answered.
