New Delhi: In a surprising and lesser-known chapter of cricket history, Sachin Tendulkar, who is India’s greatest batter ever, once fielded for a short period of time for Pakistan throughout a festival match on the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
At that point, Tendulkar became just a 15-year-old kid, no longer yet the cricketing great he became later. At some stage in Pakistan’s tour of India when Javed Miandad and Abdul Qadir left the field at some stage within the lunch break, Sachin Tendulkar became often often called to serve in its place fielder for Imran Khan’s team.
