Kannada actress Pavithra Jayaram, known for her role in Thilottama and Trinayani, died in a car accident on Sunday. Apart from Pavithra, her sister Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor Chandrakant were also severely injured. The accident took place Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor Chandrakant were also severely injured. As per reports, the car lost control and collided with the divider. Subsequently, a bus collided with the car, resulting in the actor’s instantaneous demise.

As soon as the news of the actor passing away was shared online, condolence messages started to pour in. Actor Sameep Acharya expressed grief over her passing. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”

Pavithra Jayaram was one of the most prominent actors in the Kannada television industry. Jayaram was born and raised in Karnataka. She had a keen interest in becoming an actor since an early age. Eventually, she pursued her dreams with grit and determination by making her debut with Robo Family.

The talented actress is known for her remarkable performances on screen. She captivated the audience with her charisma. In the year 2009, Jayaram started acting in TV serial Jokali. Later, the actor went on to feature in various serials including Gaalipata, Chandra Chakori and more.

Later in 2018, Pavithra made her debut in the Telugu television industry with the Ninne Pelladatha serial. She further acted in Trinayani and Swarna Palace serials. In between, the actor also featured in a couple of movies like BucchiNaidu Kandriga (Telugu), Melobba Mayavi (Kannada) and Manjari (Kannada).
