Amy Jackson recently left all her fans pleasantly surprised after sharing pictures of a dreamy proposal from her boyfriend, Ed Westwick on Instagram. Known for her roles in films like Ek Deewana Tha, Singh is Bling, and 2.0, the actress is now all set to mark her return to Bollywood with her upcoming film, Crakk. The actress in a recent interview spoke about her relationship, the romantic proposal, and her fiance.
In a conversation with News18, from praising her fiance, sharing how he planned the proposal “so well” and also revealing that she never wanted to marry someone from the same field, Amy spilled some interesting deets about her relationship with Ed Westwick, whom she calls her support system.
On questions about her proposal pictures, Amy excitedly said, “He did it so well.”

“Being with him made such a difference. I would keep saying that I am not going to date an actor. But having somebody who is supportive and understands your work is great,” Amy said further crediting ED for being a support system to her, especially when it comes to her career.
The actress also mentioned how their job is “very unusual” and continued, “We’re on the road and it’s different every day. Our schedules are here and there and everywhere and having someone who understands that and encourages it is and just has your back is really special. We get each other, which is really nice. And that’s very important in a relationship.”
‘He wants to become an action hero in Bollywood’
During this while, Amy also shared about her fiance’s habits, noting how he wanted to watch Hindi movies during his stay in Mumbai.
“He and I like watching films belonging to different genres and languages. He has been a producer on a few films. So we do a little bit of research. When Ed came to Mumbai last year, he was keen on watching some Hindi films,” she shared and added that he loves Hindi films.
The 32-year-old also revealed how her fiance reacted to the trailer of her upcoming film Crakk. Mentioning that he was quite happy with the trailer, Amy quipped, “He went like, ‘Wow, Bollywood knows how to do action.’ He wants to be an action hero in Bollywood now (laughs).”
