From talking about Rashmika Mandanna’s most viral scene from Animal to speculations about Bobby Deol’s character being mute and stepbrother of Ranbir Kapoor, the director in his latest interview addressed all of it.

Ever since the trailer of Animal came out, a scene has been going viral for all the wrong reasons. As the scene shows Rashmika Mandanna’s character talking to Ranbir Kapoor with clenched teeth, it has already become fodder for memes as fans struggle to decode her dialogue.

Speaking the same, the director said that she was meant to deliver the dialogue in this manner. In his recent interview with India Today, the director mentioned that fans will be able to understand the reason behind such a portrayal after seeing the film.

“It was a highly emotional scene and Rashmika was supposed to deliver the dialogue in a specific manner. When someone experiences intense emotions, it is normal to have their teeth clenched while talking. The scene will become more meaningful after you see the complete scene in the movie,” he said.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga denies Bobby Deol’s character being ‘mute’

Sandeep Reddy Vanga also opened up about the speculations and theories made about Bobby Deol’s character. While many thought that his character is a cannibal, some also opined that his character is mute and could be Ranbir Kapoor’s stepbrother.

Speaking about the same, the director denied all the theories and said that the character is not mute, neither is he Ranbir’s brother.

Noting that Bobby Deol plays the role of a villain in the film, the director added that it is the tale of a father-son.
