Telugu star Anjali has finally spoken out after an incident involving Nandamuri Balakrishna at the Gangs of Godavari event. Balakrishna was seen pushing Anjali on stage, which sparked controversy. On her first social media post since the incident, the actor shared a collage of videos from the event, including the controversial moment. In her tweet, Anjali thanked Balakrishna for attending the event and downplayed the incident, saying they have a great friendship.

Anjali Gets Trolled for Defending Balakrishna

However, Anjali’s Twitter post did not go well with many social media users, who accused her of doing “damage control.” Comments like “Too late to defend him now,” “Feels like a lie dear,” and “Forced tweet! That’s okay, it’s your choice!! But deep down inside you know what happened!” flooded her post.

The makers of Gangs of Godavari also came to Balakrishna’s defense. Vishwak Sen, who stars in the film, described Balakrishna as a jovial person who doesn’t take things too seriously. He pointed out that people are reacting only to a portion of the video and not considering what happened afterward when Anjali laughed it off.

Producer Naga Vamsi also defended Balakrishna, saying, “Suppose there are three people, suppose I ask you to move and you don’t, so I casually push you. That’s all that happened there. This is happening because people have planned to turn it into a controversy.” He added that Anjali and Balakrishna high-fived each other after the incident, questioning why no one is talking about that.

Despite the explanations and defenses, the incident remains a topic of debate among fans and social media users.
