Arjun Rampal praises Shah Rukh Khan amid rumours of rift: 'You've to acknowledge it, be proud of him'

Actor Shah Rukh Khan left everyone awestruck with his performance last year. Having gone on a long hiatus, the actor made a stunning comeback to the big screen with three back-to-back blockbusters. While fans can’t stop gushing over his remarkable comeback, Bollywood actors have also echoed similar views, as many came forward to praise SRK and credited him for bringing the audience back to the theatres. Joining the likes of such celebrities, actor Arjun Rampal is the recent one to laud SRK for his successful venture in films.

Once known to be very close friends and even worked in films like Don, Om Shanti Om, and Ra. One, their friendship reportedly hit rock bottom after rumours of an ugly fight between the two erupted during the release of their 2011 film.

Years after their last film together, it seems like Arjun Rampal has finally moved on.

In a conversation with Zoom, Arjun Rampal, on being asked about the practice in the industry of running the race to be number one, said, “When you say about racing, I have learned that a lot of people get happy to see people not succeed. I think that’s a very negative approach because you’re never going to grow. I think the most important thing is to feel happy for those who are doing well and be around people who have a positive attitude.”

Adding that having positive people around will show that there is no race involved and nothing exists, Rampal added, “When a Pathaan goes and breaks the record and then comes again and does it with Jawan, you feel like it is outstanding. It is fantastic. It is great for the industry. You have to acknowledge it, be happy about it, and feel proud of about that person. And whatever happens to your life, good things will happen to you too and those people will be happy for you too.”

Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal is gearing up for his next film titled Crakk alongside actors Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson.
